All About Eve with Patisserie Valerie

A sweet treat for The Eve Appeal's Make Time for Tea Campaign at Patisserie Valerie.
The Eve Appeal is delighted to announce a partnership with Patisserie Valerie in support of the charity's annual Make Time for Tea Campaign, running during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month this March.
Every day, 21 women in the UK die from gynaecological cancer. The Eve Appeal – the UK's leading gynaecological cancer charity - believes this is preventable and uses its funds to support ground-breaking research focused on developing effective methods of risk prediction, earlier detection and screening.
Patisserie Valerie is delighted to support the Make Time for Tea Campaign by encouraging people up and down the UK to learn more about ovarian cancer and host a tea party for family and friends, in order to raise money for this vital cause.
During the month, Patisserie Valerie stores up and down the UK will be promoting a delicious cake slice with a percentage of the sales going to The Eve Appeal, in addition selling the charity's enigmatic heart-shaped pin badges in stores. To raise awareness, every Patisserie Valerie store will also have information leaflets on display for customers to freely take in order to learn more about women-only cancers.
Patisserie Valerie will also be donating a selection of their popular cakes and slices for a showstopper tea party in the House of Commons, hosted by Sharon Hodgson MP and attended by a number of celebrity stars including Christopher Biggins, Denise Welch and Dr Christian Jessen.

The fabulous design label Baum und Pferdgarten was established in Copenhagen in 1999 by Rikke Baumgarten & Helle Hestehave; having just graduated from the prestigious Royal Danish Academy of Design.
