SWILDENS Spring/Summer15 Collection at TUTU Urban Boutique.
SWILDENS is her maiden name ... and Juliette is a fashion lover. Since her childhood, Juliette has been immersed in a universe of creation; heavily influenced by her parents who were both designers.
Juliette loves the clothes that stand the test of time, beautifully detailed, vintage in style, heavily influenced by the 80's Rock'n'Roll culture. That is why, with every collection, the brand surprises with its feminine and vintage mixing, that create the identity of Swildens ... arty and fancy, rock and classic.
SWILDENS represents the epitome in classic Bohemian French Chic!

Lens Flares – Behind the scenes at the Exchange’s SS15 photoshoot
This season’s Exchange Magazine shoot took on a decidedly retro feel, inspired as we were by one of the main trends for SS15 – the 1970s.
Shot once again by Nottingham photographer, Michael Lau, and with Nottinghamshire-based models and crew, the day began at 7.30am with hair and make-up. With that underway, the selected clothes and accessories for the shoot were collected and sorted into sets – itself a major undertaking!
Suitably coiffured, made-up and dressed down, models Lauren – her hair a master-work of lacquer & curls - and Jesus – not that one – strutted their stuff in front of the camera, whilst those of us behind the lens did our best to channel our inner Farrah Fawcett’s and Lee Majors, assisted by an appropriately ‘70s playlist.
Whilst not all the clothes featured were ‘70’s-inspired – double denim notwithstanding! – we hope the overall vibe reflects that era, and gives an insight into some of the great styles available this season in The Exchange’s stores.
The shots opposite give an insight to what was involved in putting the shoot together, with the final images in the SS15 edition of The Exchange Magazine. You can pick up a magazine for free in any store in The Exchange now, or view the fully interactive digital edition by clicking here > http://ow.ly/LTmKu The online issue also contains an exclusive extended edit of the shoot, featuring shots not seen in the print edition.

NUE 19.04 Spring 2015 Collection at TUTU Urban Boutique.
NUE 19.04 Spring 2015 Collection at TUTU Urban Boutique.
With its originality and elegance, the 19.04 NUE woman has character. It is delicate and sensual, while allowing express its 'rock side'.
Cyril Paillot creates ‘ready to keep’ clothes that are like a second skin. A sharp, powerful yet unstructured style; these clothes fit the body and stick to the soul. They expose the true identity of their wearer.
Playing with opposites they are wild yet fragile – the glam with the rock, silk with leather, wools with vintage crepe. A truly French ascetic, cool yet classic, not undermined by age or social setting. A must have addition to any wardrobe.

The SS15 Issue of The Exchange Magazine Edition Out Soon
Spring/Summer15 Edition Out Soon
The SS15 issue of The Exchange Magazine is out soon and will be free to pick up in the centre, as well as available to read online in the fully interactive digital edition.
In the new issue we highlight the latest seasonal products from the centre's stores for fashion accessories, beauty must-have's, gift inspiration, art and, of course, the latest fashion trends.
Speaking of trends, one of the main themes for SS15 takes its inspiration from the decade that gave us Flower Power, Love In's and Drop Out's, flares and platform soles - the '70's.
Peasant skirt anyone?
Suitably inspired, this season's fashion shoot is our take on a 70's-styled layout - dig those poses, baby! - with, naturally, all the featured clothing and accessories from The Exchange's stores. Head to Page 16 for That 70's Show.
The digital edition also contains an exclusive extended edit of the shoot, featuring shots not seen in the print edition.
There's definitely magic in the air as we catch up with Nottingham magician, Roy Bond. A rapidly rising star in the world of magic, Roy has performed at the London Palladium, for Rolls Royce and here at The Exchange - he can be seen again this year at our Christmas Lights Event in November. His close-up tricks have to be seen to be believed and if Carl Froch, WBA & IBF World Boxing Champion, says of him, "That's quality, he's the real deal," you can bet he's just that. Go to Page 8 to read the full story.
Last time, champion-of-the-dram, Chris Goodrum from Gauntleys, took on the thorny issue of artificial colouring in whiskey. In a related article, this issue he sniffs out, literally, the facts behind the effect sulphur has on the flavour and smell of the Water of Life. So, if you have the nose for it, go to Page 31 for a little Aroma Therapy.
Both the print and digital editions will be out w/c 20th April 2015.
