Milk, no Sugar Student Art Exhibition

Fine Art students from Nottingham Trent University are staging a week-long exhibition in The Exchange, entitled Milk, No Sugar.
The exhibition will be staged in Unit 9, The Exchange #Nottingham from 15th – 23rd March from 10am – 6pm, with a preview evening on 14th March from 6.00pm. Organiser Caroline McDougal says of the show,
“The exhibition is a tongue in cheek approach to the stereotypes of women, with themes of motherhood, sexuality, hyper-feminity, playing on the ideas of commodity and glamourising the mundane.
All the work has been created by women, and will comprise a mix of video, wall based art and sculptural work, with a heavy emphasis on material, fabric, silicone and felt.”
