AW16 Exchange Magazine Coming Soon

The AW16 edition of The Exchange Magazine will be out soon, and free to pick in the centre. It's also available to read in the extended, fully interactive digital edition, which can be accessed via the website or downloaded to mobile devices with The Exchange Magazine app for Apple, Android & Kindle.
In this issue we highlight the best in Autumn 16 fashion in our style pages which, along with great gift ideas, menswear, accessories and a round-up of the latest beauty must-haves, ensures there's something for everyone at The Exchange this season.
The new season inevitably brings with it a new set of trends to follow. Will you go for animal prints or Gothic Glamour? Are you New Nautical or is luxe sportswear more your thing? To help navigate the trend-maze, we've teamed up with Nottingham fashion designer and stylist, Susi Henson, founder of Nottingham corsetry brand, Eternal Spirits, who'll be giving the lowdown on the best tends for AW16 and where to find them in this season's Trend Settings
We also catch up with Dr. Martens, who launch and exciting new collection this autumn, a first for the brand since the 1960's.
For this edition's photoshoot, we've been inspired by probably the world's best-known children's stories, Lewis Carroll's Alice books. Our scale models visit some truly wondrous, and not a little alarming places, to showcase this autumn's equally wonderful fashions.
Of course, there's more to The Exchange than fashion, as there are two great eateries in the centre along with a noted fine wine retailer. Patisserie Valerie get the taste buds tingling with some mouth-watering ideas for tempting treats this autumn, while wine importer, John Gauntley, who has met manyvigneronsfrom all over Europe, talks to Beaujolais winemaker Jean Claude Lapalu, as well as suggesting a few choice bottles to try yourself.
Enjoy!

DM's Lite - The Next Revolution

The AW16 season sees Dr. Martens introduce its most evolutionary concept since the 1960s, when the original 'AirWair with Bouncing Soles' technology was engineered as a performance shoe for the working man: DM's Lite.

DM's Lite takes all of the iconic DNA and associated comfort and durability that the brand is famous for, but on a new ultra-lightweight Phylon midsole, to offer styles that transcend from workwear to fashion and take classic shoe making skills into street up lifestyle products.
DM's Lite has been designed to appeal to a broader consumer: free thinking individuals who may have never worn a pair of DM's before, or those who have been with the brand forever.
Available in three styles, the Newton 8-Eye Boot, Cavendish 3-Eye Shoe and Edison Tassel Loafer have been combined with original DMs silhouettes, resulting in contemporary design that remains true to the brand. All styles are available in Black or Cherry Red Temperley leather. Each comes with a SoftWair memory foam insole, with moisturewicking technology.
The lightweight but tough and flexible rubber outsole maximises durability and comfort for the wearer. The famous yellow stitching and grooved sidewall on the sole are familiar brand markers. This unisex collection is available in Dr. Martens stores, online and selected retailers Globally.
DM's Lite: A new icon of rebellious self-expression is born.

Jaeger 2016 - The New Print: Pattern Clash

More is more when it comes to prints this season, so they've combined all of their favourite motifs into one standout pattern. Here, Jaeger Junior Womenswear Designer Sebastian Bird explains the thinking behind it…

"We wanted to go for something a bit bolder this season; a braver print with more dimensions than classic florals. We started by contrasting our signature dogtooth print with a strong animal print in blocked geometric shapes and bold colours, which we then broke up with curved panelling. There were a lot of strong prints on the runway this season, so we looked into combining several elements into one."

Marvel Superheroes | Summer 2016 at Castle Fine Art

This summer sees the release of the latest instalment to Marvel Superheroes; a portfolio of iconic comic book covers, masterminded by the legendary Stan Lee.

The new release in the record-breaking Marvel Superheroes series – their most popular limited edition series to date - consists of six images hand-signed by Stan Lee that pay homage to some of Marvel’s most memorable characters, including Spider-Man, Wolverine and Captain America, one of the company’s most long-standing characters who made his comic book debut 75 years ago.

All of their limited edition Marvel art is created, curated and hand-signed by comic book legend Stan Lee, the man who - along with comic book artists such as Jack Kirby – is responsible for the creation of many of the comic’s most well-loved characters.

With complex, three-dimensional characters, Stan Lee has helped to breathed life into flat portrayals of good and evil, putting the human into superhuman. These Marvel limited edition prints encapsulate those characters which have won the hearts of fans the world over and gone on to become global entertainment sensations.

Make sure to drop by their Exchange Gallery and view the collection. Also view online here > http://ow.ly/YaXw303h33U

Radley AW16 Collection

Radley's London origin is an endless source of inspiration. This season gathers inspiration from uncovered writers, collectors and eccentrics, independent in character and not afraid to think outside the box.
The AW16 Collection is dedicated to the inventive form and playful use of colour that Radley's nonconformist heroines have brought to the world. The autumn collection has a palette of wonderfully warming colours, blending joyful pink and yellow hues with rich navy blue and bottle green.
Luxurious leathers set the scene for an effortlessly elegant new season, while half-moons, A-line silhouettes and structured shapes create and 'unputdownable' appeal.
The season's designs combine beautifully crafted handbags and purses with unique Radley details to give work-to-weekend outfits and unexpected twist.
