Produced from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, from six different harvests, 48% of which is from 2004. 93% is vinified in enamel lined vat with just 7% in wood. Most of the blend has undergone malo-lactic fermentation, with the exception of 15%. The wine is pale, lemon gold in glass, with hint of green. Fine, delicate mousse. Delightfully clean, lively bouquet, floral, white blossom, citrus and mineral. Tantalizing vibrance on the palate, super , ripe, white fruit, complex, but harmonious

30% Chardonnay, 70% Pinot Noir 2 years bottle ageing prior to degorgement. An attractive toasty, biscuity bouquet. On the palate it has a complex array of rich, creamy, biscuity, fruit flavours. The acidity is nicely smooth and rounded. (CG)

Francoise Bedel Dis, Vin Secret

Pale gold with a good, persistent mousse. A crisp, fresh, appley nose. Lovely and complex with autolytic notes and a core of apricot and honey along with a touch of mineral and brioche. Dry, soft acidity. Fruity and fresh with fleshy coxes or cider apple, mature honey and brioche. Quiet rich and mouth filling, smooth and long with the autolyisis, pan grille and earthy notes evident in the finish. (CG)

2005 Domaine Barmes-Buecher Cremant d'Alsace

A lovely crisp nose of apricot, peach and pear. Very pinot gris with a floral top note. Dry, very fruity, soft creamy bubbles, low acidity, lots of peach, apricot and a touch of spice. Good length with a dry mineral/ stony finish. (CG)
