This
season sees an iconic British fashion brand open in The Exchange, as Dr.
Martens move in to the centre.
Renowned
for more than 50 years for their air cushion-soled boots, Dr. Martens have expanded
their ranges in recent years, now including a men’s and women’s clothing
collection. Their footwear ranges have also developed, expanding from the
ubiquitous 1460 boot to include shoes, sandals, wellies and even a range of
heels and editions of the 1460 boot in floral patterns in their women’s
collection.
If
your perception of Dr. Martens is limited to the original ‘bovver boot’ prepare
to be pleasantly surprised when you visit the new store in The Exchange’s main
arcade, which opens mid November
