Karen Millen Spring | Summer 16: The Campaign

Resolutely confident, unashamedly feminine and perfectly at ease: Spring | Summer 16 is defined by versatile, covetable pieces designed to take the effort out of dressing.

Whether it's the romantic botanical floral tiered maxi which hints at a 70s summer or the precise-cut, all-occasion dress in the new conceptual stripes, a sense of softness runs through the collection in fluid fabrics and relaxed shapes. Key pieces include the asymmetric dipped-hem midi dress in paint-box green, the flared denim jumpsuit and the sleek black top, cutaway to expose the shoulder, the season's chicest new zone. Meanwhile, the notion of the hero bag - that bag that instantly updates any outfit - arises once more in the ultra-desirable suede chain bag.
Fashioned in lustrous silk, French lace and love-worn suede, what emerges is a collection of luxurious investment pieces that work for day and night, for now and beyond.

The Cast

Confidence, femininity, individuality: the bastions of our design philosophy are reflected in the personalities of the three women at the heart of our Spring | Summer 16 campaign. They are Angela Lindvall, the supermodel and environmentalist; Phoebe Collings-James, the talented new British artist; and Caroline de Maigret, musician, model and muse to style-watchers the world over for her effortless French-girl cool. Reuniting the creative pairing of stylist Cathy Kasterine and photographer Yelena Yemchuk, these 12 portraits capture the KM woman as she is: charismatic, assured, with a true sense of self.
