Step Into Summer At Austin Reed
Austin Reed womenswear showcases a new collection for SS13 focused
on its traditional
tailoring values, bringing striking shapes, colour, graphic print
and depth to suiting and
workwear this season.
The ultra-premium Signature line sees a mocha and blush colour
palette interspersed with
abstract check. Pleating, floaty and draped fabrics define these
pieces signified by form and shape. Femininity and British heritage is further
signalled through lace bib detailing on blouses. A suggestion of a summer tea
party story permeates the collection with the cobalt floral pattern dress, aqua
blouse and shades of pink.
The recently launched AR Red collection features a jet black wool
trouser and dress suit with
peplum jacket and dress giving a definitive, sharp edge to
corporate styling. Where it’s not
monochrome, the colour to watch is teal, appearing in a striking
teal dress and jacket.
Finally, a stand-alone white crepe jacket makes the perfect
separate for the season.
